The Deneb Algedi Talisman was hand-carved in jeweller’s wax in the form of a goat-fish—also known as the sea goat—before being cast in sterling silver, quenched in sea water, and set with a 12x10mm chalcedony cabochon gemstone. Beneath the stone I have places dried pine and marjoram, both harvested from my garden. These talismans were inspirited during the elected time of 8:46 AM on April 22, 2025 (PT).

These passages speak to Deneb Algedi’s age-old role as a guardian of justice, protector of the hearth, and bringer of prosperity. Modern practitioners —including myself— have also attested to Deneb Algedi’s efficacy in legal contexts.
This sea goat form draws on Capricornus imagery, as Deneb Algedi marks the tail of the celestial goat. The sculpture is my own interpretation of this hybrid creature that bridges land and sea.
In this election, the Moon is moving fast and forming a conjunction with the degree of the Midheaven and Deneb Algedi, while separating from a flowing trine to Jupiter in Gemini and applying toward a sextile aspect with the Sun in Taurus.
