SIZING

If you’re unsure of your ring size, you can visit any jewellery shop and ask to be sized. Alternatively, email me at info@tidesoftethys.com, and I’ll help you determine the right size.

HOW LONG WILL MY ORDER TAKE?

I ship on Wednesdays (Mercury’s Day). You will receive a confirmation email with tracking details once your order has been dispatched.

WHAT IS YOUR RETURNS POLICY?

Returns are not accepted due to customer error or change of mind.
If your jewellery arrives damaged, please contact me at info@tidesoftethys.com so we can arrange a repair.

WHAT IS YOUR WARRANTY POLICY?

All jewellery comes with a 6-month warranty.
I will repair or replace any item that is found to have a fault due to the way it was made. Each case is individually assessed to determine the cause of the fault and the appropriate solution.

HOW CAN I PAY?

We accept Credit, Debit, PayPal, and Shop Pay (pay in instalments).

CAN I CREATE A CUSTOM ORDER?

Tides of Tethys specialises in bespoke commissions.

CAN I RESIZE MY RINGS?

I only resize bespoke pieces (never talismans). Rings can be resized up to two sizes larger or smaller.
The fee is up to $50 plus worldwide postage costs. Please contact info@tidesoftethys.com to arrange resizing.

HOW IS TIDES OF TETHYS JEWELLERY MADE?

Each piece begins as a hand-carved wax model and is then transformed into metal through traditional lost wax castingor sand casting. Gemstones are set individually by hand, and each piece is finished with care.

Because of the handmade process and natural gemstone variation, your piece may differ slightly in form and hue from the product images — a mark of its uniqueness.

HOW DO I TAKE CARE OF MY JEWELLERY?

Sterling silver and gold naturally develop a patina over time, appearing as darkened areas. This can be removed with a treated polishing cloth, or you can follow these simple cleaning instructions.

Do:

  • Clean gently with a polishing cloth or mild methods.

  • Store jewellery separately to avoid scratches.

Avoid:

  • Harsh chemicals (bleach, chlorine, cleaning products).

  • Swimming or bathing with jewellery.

  • Exposing Opals and Pearls to water or chemicals, as they are especially delicate.

Please note: oxidised or patina finishes should not be cleaned, as this will remove the intentional surface treatment and reveal the bright silver underneath.
